Through our members, volunteers and staff, the St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn has been serving the local community since 1924. The Society aims to bring about lasting change to the lives of people in need. We provide practical frontline support, advocacy, and friendship to the most vulnerable members of our community.

Key Responsibilities • Provide support to Roadhouse Officers in patron engagement. • Dining room set up and pack down, inclusive of tables, chairs, and drink station. • Basic food preparation including handling of sharp knives and serving of meals. • Maintain accurate records of number of plates served and the temperature log. • Enable a friendly and supportive environment at the Roadhouse to encourage patrons to engage in meaningful social connections. • Maintain confidentiality of information disclosed by patrons. • Refer patrons who seek service referral and other soft case work support to Roadhouse Officers
