MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a delightful lady born in South Korea who would benefit from your friendly visits. She enjoys learning English, simple board games, nature, singing and reading the Bible in Korean.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly visits, or at least fortnightly visits, for a minimum of 12 months.

Korean speaking communication skills are desired, however English speaking visitors with a willingness to respectfully help our recipient with her English are also welcome to apply.
