MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a lovely lady who would benefit from friendly conversations in Croatian, to reminisce and share stories.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly visits, or at least fortnightly visits, for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Good Croatian communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to the same language are very welcome to enquire.
