BinderKeepers Inc is community orientated and provides members books covering from baby to senior ages for borrowing. Our community library has a huge collection of books written by Australians and books referencing Australia. Special reference sections in Military, Transport (focusing on Aviation History, Gardening, Art and Self Help. Every item on display has been donated by members of the local and surrounding communities.

A weekly weekend Books, Toys, Jigsaw Puzzles and Games for Sale is held at the RSL Samford car park, 4 Progress Avenue, Samford Village 4520 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, as the main library collection of books is in storage while the Library Groups finalises a site to operate from.

At the same time funds are progressively accumulating for an eco-friendly community building to act as a venue for the Community Library, stage for Theatre & live Music and Art. Volunteers assist in marketing surplus books for sale online and establish a greater reach for more substantial funding opportunities.

The secretary is required to attend online and offline (quarterly) meetings and take notes as well as provide a list of correspondence (from emails).

Online management meetings are often via email correspondence and contents are transferred into notes which are recorded as management meetings.

This role is especially suited to those individuals who love books / jigsaw puzzles and/or games.

The role is crucial for our organisation to be able to continue.

Basic administrative experience is required for this role.

Our organisation provides low-cost items that assist to empower and educate individuals of all ages in mental health, in self-reliance and resilience.

Small events are often held in the local area.
