The role involves tailoring lessons to suit each student’s abilities, instilling safe driving habits, emphasising the importance of defensive driving, hazard perception, & accident prevention, providing feedback and maintaining records of progress, lessons and logbook hours.

Transport volunteers are required to take clients who live at home to appointments. Drivers will transport clients to attend appointments, shopping and other activities. The role includes assisting clients from their door into and out of vehicles.

You'd be providing companionship and social interaction for an older person living in their own home within Newcastle and Lake Macquarie districts.
