St Luke's Care is a private health organisation that has been dedicated to providing excellent care for over 100 years. We provide care through our Hospital, Aged Care facility, Rehabilitation and Home Care services. We are looking for dedicated, kind and compassionate volunteers to help out with one of our many great volunteer programs.

Volunteer Roles

Hospital

  • Help out at The Nightingale Cafe
  • Provide support to our administration team by helping with basic admin work

Lulworth Age Care

  • Provide support and companionship to our seniors by spending one-on-one time with them
  • Assist our staff and seniors with activities such as bingo, puzzles, reading, painting and more.

Homecare

  • Assist our staff and seniors on excursions to Taronga Zoo, The Art Gallery or Royal Botanical Gardens
  • Provide companionship and support to our seniors living at their homes

    - Help them with things around the home - Help them with errands by taking them to the shops - Or simply provide them with company and someone to talk to

Requirements

  • All volunteers need to complete a National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDIS)
  • All volunteers need to have their MMR and Varicella vaccine (We provide serology tests to check your immunity against these diseases. If you are not immune you just need to go have the vaccine)
  • Previous volunteer experience desirable but not essential
