The Currumbin Palm Beach RSL Veteran Support Centre (VSC) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compensation Advocate to join the team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following competencies:

• Previous experience working in military advocacy.
• Hold current Advocacy Training and Development Program (ATDP) Compensation Advocate Level 2 (NAT11019002 ) qualification or soon to complete.
• Strong understanding of military compensation policies, regulations, and benefits.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, particularly Office 365.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to advocating for the interests and well-being of military personnel.

You will also have a good knowledge of the relevant legislation, such as the Veterans' Entitlement Act 1986 and the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004.
