The Op Shop Assistant role is a voluntary position supporting daily operations within the RSPCA SA retail stores. As a volunteer, you will work collaboratively as a part of a larger team to promote sales and deliver outstanding customer service. Without dedicated volunteers like you, we simply could not help more than 8,000 abandoned, neglected, sick and surrendered animals in South Australia each year.
Meals on Wheels are currently recruiting a volunteer to assist in the office weekly Monday to Friday from 8.00 - 11.00am, would suit job sharing between a few people. Administration tasks may include liaising with customers and volunteers, answering the phone, updating the customer database, packing frozen meals and general administration duties.
Our Blackwood Branch is currently recruiting volunteers to assist in the office 1- 2 days per week, 8.00am-11.00am. Monday and Tuesday preferred. Administration tasks will include: liaising with Volunteer Coordinator, updating database, phone calls, assisting with filling rosters and helping with kitchen, driver/delivery duties if required (on allocated office days).

If you are a people person with a little bit of organisational flair, you can help your local community by keeping the wheels turning at a Meals on Wheels branch as the Assistant Volunteer Coordinator. An Assistant Volunteer Coordinator helps the Volunteer Coordinator where needed and steps in when the they are ill, unavailable or on holidays.
